We join the ferry from Kiel/Germany to Oslo and drive the rest by Car.

Anyone join this ferry on the ferry at the 7.4.09?

Austria - Hamburg - Oslo
and then by train to Hamar

return flight goes through Munich instead of Hamburg

A friend and I fly from Frankfurt to Oslo on Tuesday to do a little sightseeing. On Wednesday from Oslo by train to Hamar and back home on Sunday evening again to Frankfurt.

And then I have 3 days in Germany before I go on vacation in USA and Canada with my girlfriend. :D

Buss from Narvik to Evenes then flying to Oslo, from there im driving.

Two of us will be boating from Jersey (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jersey) to the UK on the Saturday before, to meet up with another two. We'll then have some pre-TG fun for a few days, before driving to London in the early hours of Wednesday to fly to Sandefjord Airport, Torp. For the last three years we've flown to Gardermoen, but it was a lot cheaper to fly to Torp this year. Then we'll get the train to Hamar!

@l_bratch: Ryanair or EasyJet, right?! You just need to know that it's a long way to Hamar. It's about 3.5 hrs or so. It is also not cheap. Try to get some "Minipris" tickets für 199 and 299 NOK each way.

Thanks for the tip, will investigate the prices.

We did indeed see how long the journey is, BUT, it was a _lot_ cheaper than the other airlines (about half the price if I recall) so we went for it.

Well, I'm sure to bring my PSP or try sneak in my laptop as well as PC if it fits in the bag! :p

Then I would have slept enough in advance for at least 3 TGs in the last year. ;)

3,5hrs on a train is nothing....
we travel to our first dreamhack with a train.
traveling time 24hrs... 20 of them we was in a train...
